Common questions

Why can't the App Store version quit other apps?
macOS doesn't allow App Store apps to quit other apps. SystemWatch shows you the app in Activity, and you can quit it with ⌘Q or Force Quit (⌥⌘⎋).

Why does Storage ask for access to my home folder?
App Store apps can only look at folders you choose. Granting your home folder lets SystemWatch measure caches, leftovers and large files there. Nothing is deleted without your confirmation, and every cleanup goes to the Trash so it can be undone from Storage › Cleanup History.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
In SystemWatch, open Settings › Pro and choose Manage Subscription, or go to your App Store account settings. To restore a purchase on another Mac, choose Restore Purchases in Settings › Pro.

Does SystemWatch send my data anywhere?
Monitoring stays on your Mac. AI features send a short summary only when you ask a question. See the Privacy Policy.
